Please contact 785-330-1921 to make an appointment with the Enrollment Center at 110 McDonald Drive (south entrance). Walk-ins welcome 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays, except holidays. Please bring: current immunizations, original birth certificate, contact information for previous school, proof of residency (lease agreement, current utility bill), and a health physical (if entering a Kansas school for the first time and between the ages of 5-9). Your child(ren) may need to be present to complete enrollment screening.

By state law, any child who reaches the age of five years on or before August 31 of any school year shall be eligible to enter kindergarten. Lawrence Public Schools serve approximately 11,000 students who attend schools based on USD 497's boundaries.
